About Us
SENSOPLAN was founded in Germany in 1994 and earned its first international project in the USA in 1995. Only a year later, SENSOPLAN was selected as the leading consulting firm for a multinational power plant project in Spain, Japan, Switzerland and Mexico. As the business grew, new services were added including field testing for the effects of vibration and stress on large machinery and rotating equipment.In 1998, SENSOPLAN was presented with an award for founders of new businesses and the business was relocated to the new premises. The following year the company had their first successful remote diagnosis on a hydraulic power generator, a great milestone. By 2000 SENSOPLAN had expanded services to over 15 countries around the world.
SENSOPLAN received DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 Certification in 2002.
In 2003, the first turnkey retrofit project for the power generation and chemical industries were accomplished. SENSOPLAN successfully introduced the repair of lamination stacks SENSOCORE-Inject® and the first lamination stack diagnosis SENSOCORE HI Checkup with the new high induction test container was soon to follow.
In September 2010, SENSOPLAN joined GE Energy's Power Generation Services portfolio. SENSOPLAN leads the generator multi-vendor services segment within GE, offering a complete range of generator maintenance and upgrade services for most major non GE manufactures.
